With all the toys out there on the market, it can be overwhelming to choose the best toys for a child with special needs. Whether you are a parent, grandparent or friend, we’re sharing some of our favorite sensory toy options that a child with autism will enjoy and benefit from.
Deep pressure input has a soothing effect on children. Use it at home or on the go. When your child is going into a new and overwhelming situation, bring the lap pad with you for a calming and therapeutic effect. Your child can explore the smooth texture on one side and the quilted fabric on the other side for additional tactile stimulation.
Ignite your child’s imagination with this inflatable barrel. They can be astronauts in a space capsule or explorers hiding from dinosaurs in a cave!
