Even though you may still be experiencing the winter blues, Major League Baseball is in full swing at Spring Training. Opening day for our favorite teams are set and early April will begin the long awaited baseball season. Last year the MLB teamed up with
Autism Speaks during the month of April to recognize Autism Awareness Month.
All 30 clubs dedicated a home game to Autism Awareness to raise awareness. Each club had different offers, discounted ticket prices and giveaway's however they all had the same goal in mind, support autism awareness. While the games may not necessarily do anything specific to be sensory friendly, it is still a great opportunity for families to go out for a fun day at the ballpark. Many of the clubs have already scheduled their dedicated Autism Awareness game which you will find by checking out their schedule.
