How much weight will the 2x hold weight wise? How many sets of weight? I weigh 282 lb what won’t be appropriate weight amount for me?

XX-Small & X-Small: Each hold up to 4 lbs. of weight

Small: Holds up to 5 lbs. of weight

Medium & Large: Each hold up to 9 lbs. of weight

X-Large: Holds up to 12 lbs. of weight

The total should never exceed 10-15% of total body weight regardless of the maximum weight the vest can hold.

Why when taking this on and off the weights keep falling out when the pockets are Velcro shut and the sights move around quite a bit?

If the order is within 90 days then the customer receives a full refund. Any item returned within 90 days, that is not in resellable condition, will have a 20% restocking fee deducted from the refund. The customer pays for the return shipping.

1. Weight wear times is dependent on each person's individual needs. It's important to ask your occupational therapist about weights and wear times for best results. They should be carefully and gradually adjusted per person.

2. XX-Small & X-Small: Each hold up to 4 lbs. of weight

Medium & Large: Each hold up to 9 lbs. of weight

X-Large: Holds up to 12 lbs. of weight

Here are the weight limits for each vest size:
XX-Small & X-Small: Each hold up to 4 lbs. of weight
Small: Holds up to 5 lbs. of weight

X-Large: Holds up to 12 lbs. of weight

Can this be worn such that the Velcro fastens in the front or will it disrupt the fit and function? I am an adult with a neurological condition and fastening in the back is not convenient.

How adjustable is the compression? I am an adult with a chest measurement of 35 which If you subtract 4 from it as the sizing chart says puts me at 31. So right at the top of the small size or the very bottom of the medium. Which do you think would offer me the most functionality seeing as though I do want it to be adjustable but also prefer it to be snug.

The sizing chart says to subtract 3 inches in order to get a snug fit. So keep in mind that the 31 inches is already going to give a snug fit, and you may find the size S will be going too small. Have a check at what size fits you according to the length, and decide based on that. You can adjust compression on sides and shoulders with hook-and-loop closures.

This vest is best measured by the size chart given as it needs to fit tighter than regular clothing. The vest is designed to be worn over clothes and is not comfortable to be worn under.

The best way to measure the sizing is to use this size chart: https://funandfunction.com/size-charts/weighted-compression-vests-black. Every child is different. It is best that you work with the OT. If there's no OT, then try using it during work times, transition times or a challenging task. Then 20-30 minutes later, take it off.

Yes-vest includes 2 lbs. of weight (four 1/4 lb. weights and two 1/2 lb. weights). XX-Small includes 1 lb. of weight with four 1/4 lb. weights. Additional weights sold separately (TC1801/TC1802 or WR4577/WR6109).

Our vests don't slip over the head because they have velcro on the sides to adjust the compression and fit for the wearer. The Weighted Compression Vests and Pressure Mesh Vest have no zippers, snaps, etc. but the sides and shoulders allow you to adjust the vest if needed.
